Hi, I'm Deborah. When the pandemic hit, I found myself at home juggling a legal career and two toddlers. Like so many of us, I needed something to do with my hands. So I picked up my knitting needles. I soon began creating matching sweaters for me and my senior terrier rescue, Scruffy.

Inspired by Scruffy, Made for Every Dog Person

Scruffy was the original inspiration behind Dog Person Knitwear. Today, I knit for our two new rescues, Coco and Lily, and for dog lovers everywhere who want to celebrate that special bond with their pup.

Every piece is handcrafted to order using 100% Canadian wool. No mass production, no shortcuts, all made on my domestic knitting machine by me.  Cozy, premium knitwear made with love, one stitch at a time.
